"Their shipping and handling charges overwhelm the value pricing of their products. My initial purchase included a cost of almost $59 for shipping & handling to NJ on top of an approximate $79 product cost. Overall, I saved ~$10 from what I would have spent to value shop and pay tax for the same products locally (for those available), but that savings wasn't worth the stress of wondering how & when my shipment might arrive over a week later (especially given they use the unreliable UPS service). I wanted to place a larger, follow-up purchase based on "Columbus day sale" discounts but their shipping costs were just too outrageous, increasing markedly with sale cost. In comparison, I recently ordered from a competitor, also in San Diego, and a LARGER order only cost me ~$27 to ship vs. the $89 Wooden Cork demands for a smaller sale. I'd like to shop their products, but Wooden Cork's shipping & mandatory (i.e., CAN'T de-select) "insurance" costs eliminate any savings that offset the delay and worry of a long distance purchase. Unfortunately, I can't recommend their service."
